I read that a number of years ago (in the original Hebrew edition). It is truly an amazing book. It makes your head spin to think that he had all that info in his memory, as most of the book is written without any source material available to him much of the time, as he was running through Europe escaping the Nazis at the time.
Yes! my husband said the same thing.
I find incredible that he knew the sources about Eretz Yisrael, etc. I always thought people were taught to skim those topics.
