Searching for Children's Siddur

Hi Everyone,

We are searching for children's siddurim for our girls' b-day. Since they will only be turning three on rosh chodesh Elul, the main points in the siddur should be (1) pictures (2) lots of diversity in the pictures (3) prayers. Does anyone know of a place that sells such a siddur?

(I know we are doing this late if the solution comes from chutz l'aretz)

thanks!

I have a 12 page weekday siddur I made for our school's kindergarten class. They have been using it for over 10 years. It has clipart pictures.

(Our school gives the kids Siddur Shiloh in the middle of first grade, with a chaggiga, etc.)

I shrunk the text to use for the contents (not the cover) of the Toy Siddur tutorial, but I can scan it and upload it as a .pdf so you can print your own, if you're interested...

Miriam: There are all sorts of pictorial siddurim here in Israel.

I'll try to find out the name of the one we use.

This has nothing with the siddur but the blog link for Tr8ergirl is for Ohr Bahir. Maybe you want to fix that.

I know there is a Siddur for kids called either " Sidurri" or "HaSidur Sheli".

Small pink book, might be out of print. Very cute, if you can get it.

JDJ -thanks. With their birday only two short days away. I did go and buy the sidduri.

However, inspired by Juggling Frog's creativity, I am trying to make a little siddur for them for another time. I hope it works!

Good attitude. When there is a void fill it. I hope your children like it.

I was in your neighborhood this past Shabbat. By chance I ended up staying with Mori Shelomo and his wife Tziyona. I didn't get a chance to stop by and visit your family. Next time.

I am the illustrator of a new family siddur being published by Behrman House---the focus of the siddur is bright, colorful pictures, and lyrical translations to accompany the traditional Hebrew. (traditional and
Reform version available). Called Siddur Mah Tov---it will be available in April. you should check it out!

I teach 3's and the siddur I used last year is by far the best. It is produced by Chabad and is called My first sing along siddur and comes with a 41 track music CD. The singing is a little fast but the children get used to it and follow along in the siddur. Quick, easy to learn and our mitzvah party was a success. The kids had so much ruach. Can purchase on line.
